Lomi Salmon

Lomi Salmon

It's graduation season, and this one is near and dear to the Tastes of Aloha family.

We're saying ho'omaika'i (congratulations) to one of our daughters this month as she graduates high school! Needless to say, we have all the feels going here right now.

In honor of her and all of her hard work, we're celebrating with a graduation party. And would it really be a party if we didn't include our favorite Hawaiian dishes?

We'll be serving up Lomi Salmon, a staple dish that's simple to make and even better to eat. Note: It's seasoned with For J's Maui Onion Sea Salt. For best results, marinate the fish at least 8 hours prior to cooking!

Try Lomi Salmon for your next big event!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fresh Salmon

  • 2 large tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup diced green onions

  • 1 large sweet onion, diced small

  2. Pat For Js' Maui Onion Salt on entire salmon and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 8 hrs, overnight is best.

  3. Place salmon in bowl with ice cold water. Let sit for 30 minutes, drain and rinse well.

  4. Finely dice salmon into small pieces

  5. Dice tomatoes
