Game Day is almost here - and we're kicking it off, Hawaiian style, with two of our favorite dip recipes.
Our spicy Volcano Chicken Game Day Dip and our Smoked Ahi Spread are both delicious options to help you celebrate the big kickoff with true tropical flavor!
Volcano Chicken Game Day Dip
Bring heat to the big game with our Volcano Chicken Game Day Dip!
This delicious (and slightly spicy) dip makes a great topping for crackers. It features the Volcano Rub & Seasoning from Ohana Spice, which is a bold blend of ground chili peppers, whole herbs and spices. We add a cream cheese base to help dial back the heat. The creamy and spicy combo is like scoring a touchdown for your taste buds!

Ingredients
- 3 tsp Ohana Spice Volcano Rub & Seasoning from Ohana Spice
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 1 - 8oz package cream cheese - softened
- 1 TBS lemon juice
- 2 cups shredded and cooked chicken
- 1 c shredded Colby Jack Cheese
- Finely chopped mixture of green onions and parsley
Method
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix Volcano Legend seasoning, mayonnaise, cream cheese and lemon juice together. Fold in chicken.
- Spread mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheese
- Bake for 10 -15 minutes.
- Sprinkle with green onions and parsley.
- Serve with your favorite crackers!
Smoked Ahi (Tuna) Spread
In this recipe, we season Ahi (tuna) with a few of our favorite Hawaiian seasonings to create a smoky spiced flavor that’s perfect on crackers or a sandwich. 🥪
The Liquid Smoke from For Js, Hawaiian Hot Sauce from Da Kine, and Da Kine Hawaiian Smoky Rub are all to thank for this savory spread!
**Hawaiian Ahi, also known as Yellowfin or Bigeye tuna, is a local fish that is used across so many of our authentic recipes. It's a go-to because of its smooth and buttery taste, but also because it is packed with Vitamin D, magnesium, and omega-3 fatty acids.
Ingredients
- 8oz Tuna - albacore or yellow fin (canned or fresh)
- 4oz cream cheese, softened. or 4oz plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp For Js Liquid Smoke
- 1 tsp Da Kine Hawaiian Hot Sauce
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Da Kine Hawaiian Smoky Rub
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Method
- Use electric mixer to whisk cream cheese to creamy consistency.
- Add tuna, mayonnaise, liquid smoke, hot sauce, paprika, garlic powder, seasoning, lemon juice, salt & pepper.
- Stir until combined well
- Garnish with your preferred herbs and serve with favorite cracker or use as a sandwich spread!
