Instructions

1. Prepare & Bake the Wings

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack for extra crispiness.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel. Toss them in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Arrange wings in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

2. Make the Hot Honey Pineapple Glaze

  • While the wings are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple jam, hot honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  • Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in the butter and let it melt into the sauce for a smooth finish. Remove from heat.

3. Toss & Serve

  • Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl.
  • Pour the hot honey pineapple glaze over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds (optional).
