Incorrect package instructions

You should be using 3/4 cup of pancake mix, NOT the whole bag of pancake mix.

Not sure why some packages have instructions that say to use “3/4 pancake mix” while bags like this one say to use “1 bag pancake mix”. Especially when 1 bag is not equivalent to 3/4 of a cup.
I just attempted to make these pancakes per these instructions, and the mixing process was much more difficult than I’m used to it being. Upon looking online, I discovered that these are actually incorrect instructions.

The consistency of the batter was way too thick, and it needed more milk to loosen it.
