Our Red Velvet Macadamia Nut Pancakes are rich, delicious, festive, and finished with a sweet Vanilla Haupia Syrup drizzle.
These are made with the Red Velvet Macadamia Nut Pancake Mix from Da Kine for a mix-and-make breakfast. Then, we use Hawaii's Best Coconut Syrup for the finishing touch.
Serving Suggestion: Use a heat-safe cookie cutter to make heart-shaped pancakes. Serve with heat-shaped strawberries.
1 package Da Kine Red Velvet macadamia nut pancakes
Strawberries for garnish
2 packages 4oz Hawaii’s Best Coconut Syrup
1-1/2 Cups of Water
Make pancakes according to package directions.
Bring water to a vigorous boil. Whisk dry mix (entire bag) into boiling water.
Remove pot from heat after syrup starts to thicken.
Add 2 Tablespoon Salted Butter (Melted).
Add 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract.
Continue to whisk syrup until mixture is smooth.
Pour into dish or bowl and serve warm or chilled.
Serve pancakes on platter and drizzle with sauce.
Add strawberries for garnish.
