Maui Strawberry Mousse

It's Valentine's Day Weekend and we wanted to make an easy decadent dessert that celebrates Maui Jelly Factory's Maui Strawberry Jam. You can also use Maui Jelly Factory's Maui Strawberry Guava Jam if you love guava. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup Maui Jelly Factory Maui Strawberry Jam
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sour cream
3 ounces cream cheese
1/3 cup heavy cream
Fresh Strawberries 
Fresh Mint 

 

METHOD
Place the jam, salt, sour cream, and cream cheese in a blender and puree until smooth.
In a separate bowl, add the heavy cream and whip until soft peaks form.
Combine the two mixtures together. If you think it needs to be sweeter, add some powdered sugar. 
Divide between two glass jars or any fancy dessert dish and chill before serving. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and a small sprig of mint.
