In a jar, mix all ingredients except for protein powder.
Put in refrigerator overnight or minimum 3 hours.
Upon consuming, add in the protein powder and stir well.
If the mixture needs more liquid add up to 1/4 cup of dairy free milk until you get your desired consistency.

Once you've added seasonings to your chicken, pop it in the oven and you have a nutritious and juicy dinner the entire family will love! *Are you a multi-tasker? The oven time will allow you to check a few things off of your weeknight to-do list as it cooks!
We use the Macadamia Nut Premium Culinary Oil from Maiden Hawaii Naturals to add a buttery, full-bodied flavor to the chicken. Then, we sprinkle a generous amount of Kona Coffee Seasoning & Rub from Ohana Spice Trading Co. to add a deep roasted flavor with a slightly sweet finish.

Preheat oven 425°
Pat the chicken breasts with a paper towel to dry.
Place the chicken breasts on baking sheet skin side down and drizzle with Maiden Hawaii Macadamia Nut Oil.
Liberally sprinkle chicken breasts with Ohana Spice Trading Kona Coffee Rub
Flip over chicken breasts and repeat step above.
Roast in the oven for 40 - 45 minutes until internal temp reaches 165.

This creamy vodka cocktail is made with your favorite cold brew, coffee liquor, and the Kona Coffee Syrup from Da Kine Hawaiian; this is just the thing to power you through until the ball drops!
Add ice to a cocktail shaker.
Add all ingredients to shaker and shake for 30 seconds.

4 cups Arugula
1 1/4 cup Strawberries, quartered

]]>The base of our Macadamia Nut Cookies is similar to an ooey-gooey traditional chocolate chip cookie, but there's so much more to these tropical treats.
This recipe is packed with the buttery, salty crunch of Island Harvest Macadamia Nuts and balanced with sweet white chocolate chips for a seasonal flavor you won't be able to resist.
These are a wonderful way to share the flavors of Hawaiian Holidays with your ohana (but be sure to keep a few for yourself 😉).
½ cup unsalted butter room temperature
¼ cup light brown sugar packed
½ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup white chocolate chips
½ cup coarsely chopped roasted Island Harvest Macnuts
Heat oven to 350°F.
In a large mixing bowl using a mixer, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt gradually until just fully combined
Mix in white chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
Using a spoon or medium cookie scoop, scoop cookie dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place cookie dough balls 2 inches apart from each other and bake until bottoms of cookies are slightly golden brown. Cookies will be soft, but will be set for a chewy cookie.
Cool 5-10 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

Mix up a batch of red or green or both for a festive breakfast that will please the tastebuds of kids and adults, alike. For the red muffins, we use the Da Kine Hawaiian Red Velvet Macadamia Pancake Mix. For the green muffins, we use the Da Kine Hawaiian Matcha Pancake Mix. We use the sweet Coconut Syrup from Dip Into Paradise as a dipping sauce!
We love this recipe because you can make them ahead of time so you can spend more time immersed in Christmas magic and less time cooking!
2 1/2 cups pancake Da Kine Hawaiian Red Velvet Macadamia Nut Pancake Mix or Da Kine Hawaiian Matcha Pancake Mix **please see note
2 eggs
⅓ Cup sugar
1/2 Cup milk
1/4 Cup oil
Dip into Paradise Coconut Syrup for dipping
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Grease muffin pan well or use muffin paper cups
In a large mixing bowl add pancake mix, eggs, sugar, milk and oil. Combine well silicone until the egg yolks fully mix into the batter. Batter should be thick.
Fill each of the muffin cup evenly with batter ¾ full.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
Line a serving plate with red and green pancake muffins and serve with coconut syrup dipping.
** If you want to do red and green muffins, create this recipe twice. One recipe will use red velvet pancake mix and one will use matcha pancake mix.

Today on the Tastes of Aloha blog, we're sharing our Macadamia Nut Pesto Sauce.
In this recipe, we're ditching the pine nuts for buttery Hawaiian macadamia nuts and replacing the classic olive oil with premium expeller-pressed macadamia nut oil from Maiden Hawaii.
This sauce will be the finishing touch to our macadamia-topped pasta dish and makes the perfect Christmas Eve dinner.

Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process till well chopped. Slowly add the macadamia nut oil into processor while the processor is on. Season with the salt and pepper. Makes 3-1/2 cups.
1 package of pasta (we like rotini, penne, or fusilli)
Macadamia nuts, chopped for garnish - optional
Parmesan cheese, for garnish - optional
Basil leaves for garnish - optional
Cook Pasta of your choice according to package directions. Strain. Add pasta to large bowl and mix in the pesto sauce (as much as you desire) We like ALOT of sauce! Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garnish with basil leave and chopped macadamia nuts if you desire.
]]>These mini sandwiches are made on Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (you can never go wrong, there!) with our Kalua Turkey and Lilikoi Cranberry Sauce. Then, we drizzle them with a buttery glaze made with Maui Onion Garlic Mustard from Dip Into Paradise.
We pop them in the oven and bake them to crispy perfection for a recipe all of your guests will be begging you for!
2 cups sliced Kalua Turkey (see recipe)
1 cup Lilikoi Cranberry Sauce (see recipe)
6 slices Swiss cheese
6 tbsp butter
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
For J's Maui Onion Sea salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350.
Slice Hawaiian Sweet Rolls in half using bread knife
Place bottom of rolls into a 9x13 baking dish coated with cooking spray
Spread Lilikoi Cranberry Sauce onto the bottom of rolls.
Add one layer of Kalua Turkey and then a layer of cheese.
Place the top of Hawaiian Sweet Rolls on top of the layer of cheese.
Melt butter in microwave and whisk in Maui Onion Mustard & Worcestershire Sauce
Pour evenly over rolls.

We whipped this recipe up using Lilikoi Wai Passion Fruit Puree , Salty Wahine Coconut Cane Sugar and Dip into Paradise Guava Jam to add sweetness to the tangy cranberry base.

🎃 A buttery cookie crust made with Macadamia Nut Shortbread Cookies from Punalu'u Bake Shop
🎃 A sweet and nutty Ube filling made with fresh Okinawan Purple sweet potatoes and Ube Syrup from Hamakua Coast Premium
🎃 Topped with creamy coconut haupia made from Hawaii's Best Haupia Pudding Squares
This recipe is a fun addition if you want to add a Taste of Aloha to your Halloween celebration, but you can enjoy these squares any time you'd like!

Macadamia Nut Crust
In a food processor pulse cookies until it forms into crumble. Add butter and pulse till combined. Press into a greased 9x13” pan. Bake at 350°F for 12-17 minutes, until just lightly browned. Set aside till cool.
Ube Filling
Boil the sweet potatoes until fork-tender about 10-15 minutes. Whip them until fluffy. Cool. Cream butter and sugar, then add the eggs. Mix in the sweet potatoes. Add everything else and mix until combined.
Pour onto the crust and bake at 350F for 30-40 minutes, or until the center is firm and doesn’t jiggle when you shake the pan gently. Cool completely.
Haupia
Prepare according to package instructions. Cool slightly, then pour over the sweet potato layer.

]]>Ube Rice Cakes are bite-sized desserts made from a creamy combination of coconut milk, rice flour, and evaporated milk.
We mix Ube Syrup from Hamakua Coast Premium into the dough to add the subtly sweet and nutty flavor that ube has to offer! Fun fact > This high-quality syrup is handcrafted and made on the Island of Hawai'i! The purple color is all-natural and there are no artificial flavors or ingredients.

In a large bowl, combine 4 cups rice flour, 1 cup evaporated milk, 1 can coconut milk and 1 cup water. Mix until combine.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight
After chilling add sugar, baking powder and salt to the mixture and stir to combine.
Pour mixture into greased muffin silicone cups to about ¾ full.
Add filled silicone cups to a steamer basket.
Steam on med-high heat for 10-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Remove the rice cakes from steamer and silicone cups.

]]>These sweet rolls are simple to make. We're using pre-made pumpkin cinnamon rolls as the base and are spicing them up with some of our favorite Hawaiian-made products. We're topping them with a homemade Coconut Pumpkin Spice Icing for a Fall breakfast that tastes like dessert.
Featured in this recipe is the oh-so-creamy Coconut Butter from Dip Into Paradise and the tropical Pineapple Jam from Maui Upcountry.

2 cans premade cinnamon pumpkin rolls
4 tablespoons DIP coconut butter
2 tablespoons Maui Up Country Pineapple Jam
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 Tbs Butter
2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons Dip into Paradise coconut butter
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter.
Combine coconut butter with pineapple jam.
Unroll cinnamon rolls carefully and Brush Coconut and pineapple jam on the dough. Reroll back to shape, place in a 9x13 baking dish.
Pour Heavy whipping cream onto cinnamon rolls.
Place in a buttered casserole/baking dish. Bake 26-28 minutes.
Cinnamon Roll Icing.
Meanwhile, combine powdered sugar, coconut butter, pumpkin pie spice vanilla and milk.
Pour over rolls while warm and serve.
